Gold Coast Film Festival kicks off with a huge opening night and is followed throughout the festival with a range of brilliant films from all around the globe.

Every Gold Coast film festival patrons can come and see the latest dramas, thrillers, action, comedy and sci-fi. There are also a range of internationally acclaimed foreign-language films as well as inspiring documentaries and low budget indie films.
There are also programs centred around Australian films and documentaries as well as sessions that celebrate the skill and dedication of animators. Sipfest is an annual showcase of the best short films from across Australia.
Held on the Surfers Paradise, patrons will be able to enjoy an outdoor cinema experience with a range of 10 minute short films being shown and judged. There are also sessions targeted towards children known as “YScreen”, which have films suitable for children and young people as well as families and school groups.
Workshops are also run throughout the festival and are suitable for people of all skill levels.
